Argo Shipping (formerly Disk.com) Fulfillment Integration

Argo Shipping (formerly Disk.com) Fulfillment Integration

Overview

Argo Shipping is a technology-driven shipping and fulfillment company founded by professionals with backgrounds in technology, logistics, and eCommerce. Built as a response to the shortcomings of traditional third-party logistics (3PL) providers, Argo positions itself as a true partner to eCommerce businesses—focusing on transparency, accountability, and cost efficiency.

A key differentiator is Argo’s guarantee: if they make a mistake (such as an incorrect shipment or damaged product), they pay 150% of the cost, rather than passing the burden onto their partners. Argo also provides an Argo Partner Portal with live data and offers partners direct 24/7 access to both the warehouse manager and the CEO. Operating primarily along the Wasatch Front, Argo emphasizes low overhead, seamless integrations, and a risk-free onboarding experience—including a 60-day satisfaction guarantee with a full refund of onboarding expenses if partners aren’t satisfied.

Note: http://Disk.com was acquired by Argo Shipping. In some UltraCart screens, the transmission mechanism may still display the legacy name http://Disk.com even though the service is operated by Argo Shipping. ucdoc-Disk.com Fulfillment Inte…

Argo Shipping Fulfillment Integration (REST)

Introduction

ArgoShipping.com (formerly Disk.com) integrates with UltraCart using the UltraCart REST Fulfillment API transmission mechanism.

Note: The legacy Disk.com transmission mechanism is being decommissioned. New and existing Argo Shipping merchants should use REST going forward.

This guide walks UltraCart merchants through the UltraCart-side setup:

  1. Select the REST transmission mechanism.

  2. Choose the Authorized Application that Argo Shipping provided.

  3. Configure Shipping Methods so UltraCart and Argo use consistent service names.

  4. Configure Items (SKUs) so Argo can fulfill the correct products.

Warning: SKU mismatches are a common cause of fulfillment failures (e.g., “item not found” or “unmapped SKU”).

Conclusion

You have configured UltraCart to transmit fulfillment requests to Argo Shipping using the REST mechanism, selected the correct Authorized Application, aligned Shipping Methods, and verified Item/SKU setup.

Next Steps

  • Place a test order using a supported shipping method and confirm it appears in Argo Shipping.

  • If orders do not transmit:

    • Re-check REST is selected

    • Confirm the correct Authorized Application is selected

    • Verify shipping method naming/mapping

    • Validate item SKUs match Argo’s catalog

LEGACY INTEGRATION

Argo Shipping is in the process of decommissioning the Disk.com API. If you are setting up a new integration as of February 2026, you the support REST integration. IF you are currently using the Disk.com integration, prepare for migration as soon as possible.

Step 1: Configure the transmission mechanism

  1. Open your Distribution Center.

  2. Configure the first tab of the Distribution Center with the address details for the fulfillment warehouse.

  3. Select the Transmission Mechanism tab/menu.

  4. Locate Disk.com to integrate Argo Shipping as the "transmission mechanism"
(Disk.com is the legacy label for Argo Shipping) and select it.

  5. Enter the credentials provided by Argo Shipping:

    • Company ID

    • Shipping Account

  6. Save your Distribution Center settings.

Prerequisite: Your Company ID and Shipping Account values are provided by Argo Shipping during onboarding.

Step 2: Configure supported shipping methods

Argo Shipping supports a defined list of carrier/service shipping methods (viewable from the transmission mechanism list).

  1. From Distribution Center → Transmission Mechanism, locate the Argo Shipping | (formerly Disk.com) section.

  2. Click View (far right) to see supported shipping methods.

  3. Ensure your store’s configured shipping methods match the supported methods list.

To add/remove/edit shipping methods in UltraCart:

Configure items to map to Argo Shipping SKUs

In most cases, you’ll benefit from keeping your UltraCart Item ID aligned with the Argo Shipping SKU so the mapping is transparent. However, if your UltraCart Item ID must differ from the SKU in Argo, you can explicitly store the external SKU on the item.

  1. Go to Item Management and edit the item you need to fulfill via Argo Shipping.

  2. Open the Inventory Control and Distribution sub-tab.

  3. Go to the Shipping tab/section within that area.

  4. Enter the Argo Shipping SKU into the SKU field used for fulfillment mapping.

  5. Save the item.

Conclusion

You’ve now:

  • Enabled the Argo Shipping integration via the Argo Shipping | (formerly Disk.com) transmission mechanism label.

  • Confirmed supported shipping methods and aligned your store configuration.

  • Ensured your items are properly mapped to Argo Shipping SKUs for accurate fulfillment.

Next steps

  • Run a small set of test orders and confirm:

    • Orders transmit successfully to Argo Shipping.

    • Shipping method mapping is correct.

    • SKU mappings match what Argo expects.

  • If you need additional reporting or custom fulfillment insights, consider using UltraCart’s AI-Powered Report Builder to build targeted fulfillment, shipping, and operational reports (for example: “Show orders shipped by distribution center with shipping method over the last 30 days”).
