Configuring Veeqo

Integrating Veeqo with UltraCart

This guide will walk you through integrating Veeqo with your UltraCart account for order fulfillment processing. This integration enables UltraCart to transmit orders to Veeqo and ensures proper SKU mapping and shipping method configuration.

Overview

The integration process involves three main steps:

  • Configuring the UltraCart transmission mechanism to connect with Veeqo.

  • Configuring shipping methods, including custom codes for specific shipping options.

  • Mapping SKUs for your items.

Warning: Your Veeqo fulfillment will not work without configuring shipping method translations.


Prerequisites

Prerequisite: You must create all shippable items in the Veeqo system. UltraCart does not provide item synchronization with Veeqo, and Veeqo has many configuration options for each item.


Configuring the UltraCart Transmission Mechanism to Work with Veeqo

The first step is to perform an OAuth authorization to connect UltraCart and Veeqo.

Locate the Veeqo section and click the "Click here to authorize the connection" button.

You will be redirected to Veeqo to authorize the connection.

Note: UltraCart recommends logging into Veeqo in a separate browser window beforehand, as the authorization process may fail if you are not already logged in.

 

After authorizing on Veeqo's site, you will be redirected back to UltraCart. The screen will indicate that you are now connected to Veeqo.

Once connected, UltraCart can fetch a list of your Veeqo Stores (formerly channels). You must select one for the process to work.

 


Steps for creating a Veeqo store:

Click the "Sync Not Active - Add your first store" link at the top of your Veeqo screen.

Click the "+ New Store" button at the top left of the Channels screen.

Select the "Other" radio button on the store setup screen.

Fill in the properties of the new Store.

After selecting the store in the UltraCart screen, click Save.  Your Veeqo is now connected.  

 


Configuring Shipping Methods

After configuring the transmission mechanism, you need to configure your shipping methods to ensure proper mapping between UltraCart and Veeqo.

Navigate to your shipping methods in the Shipping section.

HomeConfiguration (Checkout)Shipping → (middle menu) Methods → Edit a shipping method


On the "Other" tab of your shipping method, scroll down to the Custom Shipping Method Codes section.   Enter the Custom Shipping Method Code for Transport = Veeqo.

You can find your list of shipping methods in your Veeqo screen by clicking the gear in the bottom left of the screen, then selecting the "Delivery Methods" panel.


Enter the name exactly as it appears in your Veeqo system.

 


Item SKU Mapping

If your UltraCart item IDs and Veeqo SKUs are identical (especially if your Veeqo SKUs are the same as your UPPERCASED UltraCart Item IDs), SKU mapping will happen automatically, and no further action is required. However, if they differ, you must configure SKU mapping for each item.

Home → Items → Item Management → (edit an item) → Edit a shipping method → Shipping tab → Inventory Control and Distribution button

 

For your distribution center that is connected to Veeqo, enter the SKU for each item if it differs from the actual Merchant Item ID.
