FlavorCloud Shipper Configuration

FlavorCloud is a shipping carrier that specializes in low cost shipping with automated customs handling.

FlavorCloud requires all items to have an HTS Commodity Code. This is configured within the Item Editor on the Shipping → Customs screen. Failure to provide this code or a customs value dollar amount will prevent FlavorCloud from returning any rates.

Configuration

Navigation: Home → Configuration → Checkout → Shipping → Carriers

Select the checkbox to add FlavorCloud to your Shipping Carriers configuration:

Next, click 'FlavorCloud' that appears below carriers (to the left of where you initially selected FlavorCloud checkbox. The FlavorCloud credentials and ShipFromAddress configuration fields will be displayed.

You’ll need to configure the ‘App ID' and ‘API Key’, which you will obtain from within your FlavorCloud account. You’ll also configured your Origination Shipping Address to be used on the shipments:

There is an additional configuration option for ‘AfterShip.com’ which is a 3rd party automated shipment tracking service.

Adding FlavorCloud Shipping Methods

FlavorCloud has two shipping methods:

  1. FlavorCloud: Express

  2. FlavorCloud: Standard

You can add these shipping methods from the methods tab of the Shipping Configuration page.

You’ll either choose the #1 (All methods) drop-down list option:

 

or add them individually using the #2 (Single built-in shipping methods) drop-down list option:

 

 

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I have configured the required integration credentials. I am not finding an option to print labels in the shipping department.
A: The FlavorCloud integration is for rate estimation only. To print labels, you’ll need to log into your FlavorCloud account.
