Ship-Right Solutions Integration
This tutorial will walk you through the process of configuring the Ship-Right Solutions Integration within UltraCart.
Prerequisites
Before getting started with this tutorial, you will need several important pieces of information from Ship-Right Solutions.
- Ship-Right Solutions API Key
- Ship-Right Solutions Owner Code
- Ship-Right Solutions Owner Class
- Ship-Right Solutions Campaign Code
- Ship-Right Solutions Owner Source ID
Distribution Center Configuration
The first step is to configure your distribution center to transmit the orders to Ship-Right Solutions. First click on Configuration.
Next click on Checkout and then Shipping.
Now click on the Distribution Centers tab and then Click edit next to the distribution center that you are going to use for Ship-Right Solutions. If you are using a new UltraCart account just edit the existing default distribution center.
Fill out all the address information for the Ship-Right Solutions Warehouse that you are going to be shipping from as shown below. Then click on the Transmission Mechanisms tab.
Scroll down the list of transmission mechanisms until you come to "Ship-Right Solutions". Click on the radio button and then complete all of the fields shown below. All of the values for these configuration fields are provided by Ship-Right Solutions.
Finally scroll to the bottom of the page and click save.
Shipping Method Configuration
The next step is to configure the shipping method codes that will be sent to Ship-Right Solutions. First click on the Methods tab and then click Edit next to each of the methods on your account.
Now click on the Other tab, specify the shipping method code, and then click save. Note that the codes supported by Ship-Right Solutions are: RG1, RUSH and INT. Do not use any other codes unless instructed to by Ship-Right Solutions.
Repeat the process above for each of the shipping methods on your account.
