Digital Delivery Tab
Item Management → Create/Edit Item → Digital Delivery Tab
Before you can utilize this feature, you will need to upload your digital file(s) into the Digital Library.
Overview
The Digital Delivery Tab of the item editor is where you assign the digital download files to the purchase item.
Files section
The Files section is where the files uploaded into the Digital Library appear and are assigned to the purchase item.
The "Available Files" list box on the left contains all available files uploaded into your Digital Library. The "Selected Files" list box on the right contains all files currently associated with this store item. To move an item from the left to the right, select the item in the left and click on the arrow pointing to the right box. To remove an item from the right box, select the item to be removed and click on the arrow pointing to the left box. When you have completed your changes, press the Submit button to return to the item selection page. If you wish to make other changes to this item, click on the desired tab.
Activation Codes Section
The activation Codes section presents the following options:
None
This is the default setting. Make this selection if NO activation codes are needed. No other action is necessary.
Assign from list
Once you select this choice, the section will expand to allow you to configure your list.

First enter a description that you want to appear on the receipt.
Then enter your codes, one per line. Hit 'enter' at the end of each line as it serves as the separator between the activation codes.
A limit of 3,000 codes should be used, when using a list of codes. If you need more then 3000 codes, we recommend using the Real time list.Lastly, enter the "Low Warning Threshold".
Each user that has the "Activation Codes" email notification configured in their user will receive notifications for items configured with the "Low Warning Threshold" field in the "Assign from List" configuration fields.
To activate the Low Activation Codes email notification, navigate:
Configuration → Users → Click on user login of user you wish to configure to receive the notifications → select the checkbox titled “Low Activation Codes” then save the settings.
Retrieve real-time
Check this selection if you want the customer to obtain the activation code from a designated URL.
This option requires server on your that can process scripts that pass to UltraCart the activation code(s).
Enter the URL in the box provided.
Also enter the "Shared Secret"
Soraco QLM
Soraco Licnese Manager provides Software Protection and Licensing services. Select this option if you have established an account with Soraco.
Membership Section
If you've previously configured either WishList Member or aMember to your UltraCart account, you will find a configuration section at the bottom of the page.
Digital Delivery Email
You can customize the content of the digital delivery email notification sent to the customer by selecting the "Digital Delivery" template from the drop down menu. This notification is sent out to the customer after the payment for their order has been processed. So orders that go into the "Pre-orders" and "Accounts Receivable" departments will not have sent the digital delivery notification.
Frequently Asked Questions
Question: I am having my digitial download orders going into my shipping department, why?
Answer: Items that are configured with a weight greater than zero ("0.00") will be treated as a shippable item and will present shipping related checkout sections to the customer ,and the placed order will move to the shipping department after the payment has been processed. To prevent your digital items from appearing in your shipping department, edit the digitial delivery items and change their configured weight to "0.00". (You can search for and then update many items at once using the Batch Item Update tool.
