Step-by-Step Instructions: How to Use the Tutorials Section
Step 1 – Start with your goal
Before browsing, decide what you’re trying to accomplish. For example:
“I want to add TikTok tracking to my StoreFront.”
“I need a wholesale order entry page.”
“I need to connect ShipStation.”
“I want to test my checkout before launch.”
Keep this goal in mind as you choose a tutorial.
Step 2 – Pick the right tutorial category
Use the left navigation to expand the tutorial categories. The most commonly used categories include:

Step 3 – Explore specialized “how-to” tutorials
Beyond the high-level categories, you’ll find focused tutorials for very specific outcomes, such as:
Marketing & Tracking
StoreFront Experience & Content
Shipping, Pickup, and Fulfillment
Offers, Conversions, and Customer Communication
Compliance, Chargebacks, and RMAs
If you see a tutorial title that closely matches what you want to do, that’s usually your best starting point.
Step 4 – Follow the tutorial from top to bottom
Once you open a tutorial:
Read the overview to confirm it matches your goal.
Check any prerequisites (for example, needing a pixel from an ad platform or an API key).
Follow steps in order—many tutorials assume prior steps are complete.
Verify your work using any included test or validation steps (like placing a test order or checking tracking tags in your browser console).
Tip: When possible, perform tutorial steps in a test environment, staging StoreFront, or during low-traffic periods.
Step 5 – Save changes and document what you’ve done
After completing a tutorial:
Confirm that changes are saved and published (especially for StoreFront and Visual Builder changes).
Note configurations (IDs, keys, custom code snippets) in your internal documentation so your team can revisit or replicate the setup later.
If the tutorial affects orders or payments, place at least one test order to validate your configuration.
