Step-by-step Instructions

This tutorial will walk you through configuration of the Chargebacks911 integration.

Main Menu → Configuration → Order Management → Chargeback Processing

Navigate to the configuration page for Chargebacks 911 .

1. Configure Chargebacks911 Integration

  1. Navigate to Main Menu → Configuration → Order Management → Chargeback Processing.

  2. Enter your Chargebacks911 API Username, Password, and Environment.

2. Create Merchant Account Profile

  1. Click on New next to the Merchant Account Profile section.

  2. Provide a Description and Account Number for the profile.

    Note: These fields are for internal reference only and are not used in the actual integration logic.

  3. For Transmission Mechanism, select Chargebacks911.

  4. From the dropdown menus, select the appropriate Chargebacks911 Account ID and Merchant ID. These values determine which Chargebacks911 account/merchant ID combination is used for the orders processed through this profile.

3. Associate Merchant Account Profile with Payment Gateways

  1. Navigate to Configuration → Checkout → Payments.

  2. Click on Rotating Gateways.

  3. Click Edit next to each Rotating Transaction Gateway you wish to configure.

  4. Scroll to the gateway type section and assign the correct Merchant Account Profile for each card brand.

  5. Save your changes to the Rotating Transaction Gateway.

Once saved, UltraCart will begin transmitting chargeback data to Chargebacks911 according to the configurations you've set.

4. Upgrade from Sandbox to Production

Important: After upgrading your Chargebacks911 credentials from sandbox to production, you must edit each Merchant Account Profile and update the Account ID and Merchant ID to reflect the production values.

Monitoring Integration

You can monitor Chargebacks911 integration activity using UltraCart's Integration Log system.
