Add Folder, Kit, Item
Introduction
In UltraCart, your product catalog is structured using Items, Folders, and Kits:
Items are individual products available for purchase.
Folders are used to organize items into logical groups, making catalog management easier.
Kits are bundled offerings that combine multiple items into a single sellable product.
Each serves a different purpose, and understanding how to create and manage them is key to keeping your catalog organized and your storefront optimized.
Quickstart (TL;DR)
Go to Items → Item Management.
Click the Add (+) button.
Choose Add Item, Add Folder, or Add Kit.
Fill out the form.
Click Save.
Adding a Folder

Note: Kits are great for offering bundles, gift sets, or promotional packages.

Best Practices & Tips
Use Folders Thoughtfully: Group items by brand, category, or season for easier long-term management.
Descriptive Item IDs: Use item IDs that make sense to both your team and your fulfillment center.
Leverage Kits for Value: Bundling slow movers with top-sellers can improve inventory turnover.
