Allowing the Customer to Cancel an Auto Order

Most merchants that have auto orders will suppress the easy cancel email that goes out with the original order. This creates a problem though by requiring the customer to contact customer service in order to cancel their recurring order. This may be a desired effect because the customer service representative will attempt save a sale techniques over the phone. If you want to allow the customer to self service cancel the recurring order from your website then there is a simple link that you can place on your website. If you navigate to

Main Menu → Configuration → Back Office → Auto Order Processing

At the bottom of the page is a Links section with the cancel link as shown below.

 

 

Place this link on your website.  The link will contain your MID at the end of the link.  Instruct the customer on how to access it when they write in asking to cancel their order.
