Overview
StoreFront Communications is a next generation marketing platform built directly into UltraCart and seamlessly integrated with StoreFronts. We use the term ‘next generation’ to reference both our 3rd generation of email marketing tools, and to group our offering with the latest wave of marketing tools that offer a combined e-commerce checkout with marketing tools. While most marketing companies have backward integrated to provide a checkout experience, UltraCart has forward integrated our 20 years of e-commerce with a first rate marketing experience.

All merchants using the StoreFront Communications platform will start out with all email content requiring review by UltraCart Support as well as hourly and daily sending limits. These safe guards are to ensure that the content delivered by the StoreFront Communications platform remains high quality with low spam complaints.
We know that many merchants have very large external lists within other email service providers. StoreFront Communications has support for importing these lists, but this functionality requires explicit permission from UltraCart Support to utilize. We would like to have a conversation to review:
The list source. These customers must originate from your own direct interactions.
The age of the list.
The prior activity of the list.
How it will be used.

Setup
Login to secure.ultracart.com
Navigate to your StoreFront
Click on the Communications section under StoreFronts
Configure Email Sending Domains
Next click on the Settings sub-menu. The first setup step is to configure your Email Sending Domains . Your sending domain will allow UltraCart to send emails on behalf of your domain. Enter the domain name and click the add button.
A dialog will appear with four DNS records that need to be configured. If you’re not familiar with DNS configuration, UltraCart has also sent you an email with the four records that need to be configured. Forward that email to your IT department for configuration.
Within 1 hour, the sending domain will validate after you configure the domain correctly. Once validated the green dot next to the domain name will light up.
After your domain validates, you can configure default email addresses for your marketing and transactional communication.
