Getting Started with Your UltraCart Dashboard Widgets

Introduction

The UltraCart dashboard provides a centralized view of key information and quick access to essential tools for managing your online store. This is achieved through the use of modular components called widgets. Upon starting your UltraCart trial, a default set of widgets, including the Getting Started Checklist, Statistics (Basic), Accounts Receivable, and Shipping Department are automatically displayed to guide you through the initial account configuration and provide a general overview of the account.

Understanding Dashboard Widgets

What are Widgets?

Widgets are dynamic content blocks that display specific information or provide shortcuts to various UltraCart features directly on your dashboard. They offer a customizable overview tailored to your individual needs and preferences. Each user within an UltraCart account can configure their dashboard to display the widgets most relevant to their daily tasks.

Available Widgets

  • Statistics (Basic) - UltraCart Analytics metrics on the general activity of your account.

  • Statistics (RTG) - UltraCart Analytics metrics on rotating transaction gateways.

  • Statistics (Affiliate) - UltraCart Analytics metrics on affiliate activity.

  • Integration Health - Displays log details details for integrations, with the following columns:

    • Logs

    • Warnings

    • Errors

    • Critical

  • Find an Order - A search tool for locating specific orders.

  • Affiliate Management - Shows Pending affiliate(s) needing approval.

  • Sales Summary - Count and Dollar Amount of Sales for Today, Month to Date, and Year to Date.

Important Note: Please note that due to the event driven nature of this widget it is not precisely accurate. For most accurate sales reporting, please use the Statistic widget, the Period Sales report in reporting and Google BigQuery.

  • Accounts Receivable - Total count of orders pending in Accounts Receivable Department.

  • Getting Started Checklist - Shows primary steps to complete basics setup.

  • Shipping Department - Display of number of orders pending by shipping method.

  • Order Entry - A button to load and run the Back End Order Entry (BEOE) program.

  • Quote Requests - Displays any pending Quote Requests. A Quick Jump button will take you to: Operations → Order Management → Pre-Orders

  • Pre-Orders - Displays a list of Pre-Orders. A Quick Jump button will take you to: Operations Order → Management → Quote Requests

Widget Icons

Depending on the specific widget, you may see up to three clickable icons in the widget's title bar:

  • Preferences: - Allows you to configure additional settings specific to that widget.

  • Refresh: - Updates the information displayed within the widget to reflect the most current data.

  • Close: - Removes the widget from your dashboard. You can add it back later if needed.
