Customers That Have Purchased From You

To accomplish this we’re going to build a segment that includes everyone that has purchase from us. As a reminder segments are dynamic and will add/remove customers from the segment has their activity changes.

 

First navigate to Communications → Lists & Segments and then click the New List or Segment button as shown below.

Now click on the New Segment button as shown below.

Give the segment a name such as “Customers Who Have Purchased”, select the segment filter of “What someone has done or not done”, select “Placed Order”, and then click Create Segment as shown below.

The new segment will appear in your list and a popup message will tell you that the segment is calculation membership. This will take several minutes to complete depending upon the size of your customer base.

The list will periodically poll to check when the segment has finished creation. Until then it will show as (Pending) as shown above. Once complete the number will appear and the segment is ready to use.
