receipt_in_progress.vm
In addition to other standard variables like $cart, StoreFront system screens (display and post form data, such as checkout screens) have a $form variable that contains fields and data specific to that screen.
Listed below are the form fields specific to this screen template.
receipt_in_progress.vm is used by checkouts that have a custom receipt page hosted outside UltraCart. The receipt page is the target location for conversion tracking to take place. When merchants have a custom receipt, that conversion tracking cannot take place, so the receipt_in_progress.vm is shown to the customer instead of the normal in_progress.vm file. The only difference between the two is the former fires conversion tracking code while the latter just displays a "please wait" message and does nothing more.
