Email Service Configuration
Email server
UltraCart allows you to have receipts sent through your own sending domain or email server so emails arrive from your address instead of from the standard @ultracart.com email addresses. This feature is optional and should only be configured by merchants that have an email server capable of sending authenticated SMTP traffic.
You may configure a different email server for each StoreFront or legacy theme. Legacy Themes are managed here: Home → Configuration → Screen Branding Themes
Email Type Configuration Sections
Each email notification will be display like the following:
IF you have multiple SBT and or Storefront hosts configured in your account, then you'll see a separate configuration section for each email notification, for each SBT/SF, followed by the next email notification type, etc.
Within each configuration section there are a number of fields required which are described below.

| Options | Three options are: Copy to Theme → Applies the configured details to all email notifications for the theme. Copy to All → Applies the configured details to all email notifications for ALL of the themes. Clear Entire Theme → Clears the credentials from all of the email notifications for the theme. |
Testing Email Addresses Configuration

When you update the email addresses configuration, upon saving the changes, UltraCart sends a test message through the configured SMTP server to make sure that we can successfully send emails with the configured credentials. In the event that your email server appears down or unavailable, UltraCart will revert to the default UltraCart from addresses. |

Explanation of each of the email notification types

Some of the notification types allow individual configuration based upon the screen branding theme. Those types of notifications will show a configuration section for each theme. Other notifications only have a single configuration option and therefore only the default screen branding theme is shown.

The system's default behavior is to use the credentials you've configured on the default theme for all other themes if they are left blank. (The UltraCart addresses will not apply to any theme once the defalt (DFLT) theme is configure.) |
