Customer records in StoreFront Communications can be created from any interaction where we learn the customer's email address such as an abandon cart scenario, signup to an email list, etc. An “Active” Customer is a customer that has some interaction with in the past 365 days. If you are setting up your account UltraCart account from scratch, you’ll see an empty customer table:

For existing accounts, you’ll see the table populated with your customers:
