Establishing Fraud Filters From Placed Orders

About

This tutorial describes the process of establishing fraud filters based upon the details of a placed order.

Reviewing an Order

When reviewing an order you may determine that the order is fraudulent in some way, and therefore wish to flag future orders based on the contents of the existing order.

UltraCart provide a tool for establishing fraud filters based on the details of the order you are reviewing.

The Establish Fraud Filters tool appears in the “Tools” menu option when reviewing an order from the “View orders” search results or from the “Find Order” widget on the home page of your login:

NAVIGATION:
Main Menu → Operations → Order Management → (Order Life Cycle) “View Orders” → Search → Clicking the orderID in results to view in “Full page” view → Then mousing over “Tools” in the Possible Actions” menu and choosing “Establish Fraud Filters”

Upon clicking the “Establish fraud filter” menu option, you’ll be presented with the Fraud Filters, like this:

By default, all four filters are selected. You can uncheck any filter you do not wish to apply. You will also have the option of updating the note that will be placed on the order, in the merchant notes field. the default note will be “Fraudulent order”.

Upon Saving the filters you wish to establish from the reviewed order, you’ll see the above confirmation of the new filters that were created.
