Refund Report
The Refund Report offers a comprehensive overview of all refund activity within a specified reporting period. It's designed to help you monitor refund patterns, reconcile your financials, and maintain customer satisfaction.

Report Structure
This report is organized on a single tab but divided into two distinct sections:
List of Refunds for Non-Rejected Orders: This section provides detailed transaction and customer information for refunds processed on orders that were not rejected.
List of Order IDs for Rejected Orders: This section simply lists the Order IDs for orders that were both refunded and rejected during the reporting period.
Columns (Non-Rejected Orders Section)
For non-rejected orders, the report includes the following columns:
Order ID: The unique identifier for the order.
Name: The name of the customer associated with the order.
Email: The customer's email address.
Payment Date: The date the original payment was made.
Refund Date: The date the refund was processed.
Subtotal: The original subtotal of the order before taxes and shipping.
Subtotal Refunded: The amount of the subtotal that was refunded.
Tax: The original tax amount for the order.
Tax Refunded: The amount of tax that was refunded.
Shipping: The original shipping cost for the order.
Shipping Refunded: The amount of shipping cost that was refunded.
Total: The total original order amount (Subtotal + Tax + Shipping).
Total Refunded: The total amount refunded for the order.
Refund By User: The user or system that processed the refund.
Merchant Notes: Any additional notes or comments provided by the merchant regarding the refund.
Columns (Rejected Orders Section)
For rejected orders, this section includes only one column:
Order ID: The unique identifier for the rejected order that received a refund.
Purpose and Usage
This report serves several key purposes for your business:
Detailed Insights: The "Non-Rejected Orders" section provides in-depth information about refund transactions, helping you track customer refunds, understand their financial impact, and identify reasons for refunds through merchant notes.
Quick Identification: The "Rejected Orders" section simplifies the tracking of refunds for problematic orders by providing a concise list of Order IDs.
This report is an invaluable tool for customer service teams, financial analysts, and e-commerce managers who need to monitor refund trends, ensure accurate financial reporting, and continuously improve the customer experience.
Running the Report
To run the report, you'll enter the time period for the report into the "From" and "To" fields (format MM/DD/YYYY) then click the "Generate Report" button.
This report is schedule-able
This report is schedule-able To schedule this report select the "Schedule Report" then fill out the form that is displayed with the starting date, the desired frequency, the email subject, and the email address (if multiple addresses, separate the email addresses with a comma) to which the report should be emailed.

Upon running the report you may encounter the following message about navigating to the report pickup area to download the completed report:
