SSL Validation Notification

When purchasing or renewing a SSL certificate purchased through UltraCart (via Comodo.com) there will be a validation step requiring you to respond to both a verification email and verification phone call.

The email notification for this step will appear like this:

Subject: [#WTZ-620395]: Validation Documentation for Order XXXXXXXX
(message body)Dear Customer,

Thank you for writing to us.

We have sent a callback email to [the email address on file for the ultracart user that made the purchase appears here]. This email will show the phone number [the phone number on file for the domain appears here] which we have validated for your order. You need to hit the "call me now" button, once you hit that button you will receive our automatic callback and it will read out the callback code to you. If you want to hear the code once again, kindly follow the automated voice message.

We have sent a Verification email to "the email address on file as admin contact for your domain name appears here ". This email will contain a secret "validation code" that you will need to paste into a web page before your certificate will be issued.

If you have any queries, kindly get back to us.
Please share your customer experience with us at feedback@comodo.com

Kind regards,
Comodo Validation Team

Important note regarding Domain Control Validation

PLEASE NOTE: If you have a privacy service turned on for your domain name, you will need to temporarily turn it off in order to complete the Domain Control Validation step. Once you have received the DCV email and complete the validation step, you can turn the privacy service back on.

Alternatively, if you have "admin@yourdomain.com" configured, the DCV email can be sent to that address.
