Third Party shipping account configuration billing is a configurable option , allowing that allows your customers to provide shipping account number numbers to be used for shipment of their order.

 

Configuring the shipping method to allow for 3rd party shipping account

The first step to configuring the 3rd party shipping account is to enable it at the shipping method level by navigating to the shipping configuration methods tab.

The first one enables 3rd party billing, and the second check box makes the 3rd party billing option available only to customers that have a customer profile that you,
the merchant has configured to "allow 3rd party billing".

Customer Profile Configuration for 3rd Party Shipping Account:

Navigate from the Main Menu to "Customer Profiles".

Back Order Entry View:

A view of the 3rd Party Billing Acct# field on the Back End Order Entry.

After entering a shipper account number and recalculating the shipping, the method cost will be 0.00.

Customer Checkout View:

 

The method appears to the customer for free curing checkout when UltraCart detects that the customer's customer profile is configured to allow 3rd party billing.
