Answer: The clicks are tracked by recording the IP address from the customer's browser when they click on an affiliate link. Only unique IP's are tracks for a given affiliate link. IF the customer clicks through multiple times on the same affiliate link they will only appear in the report once. If they happen to click through on different affiliate links, then they will appear once for each link. (see the example screenshot of the the "Click History" report)
